Master’s in Health Advocacy

Students pursue an MA in Health Advocacy at Sarah Lawrence College because they want to solve problems.

Some work in and with local communities to affect change. Others do patient advocacy work, helping individuals navigate an increasingly complex health care system. Still others work to influence policy to make government and industry more accountable for actions that jeopardize the health of our communities.

The Health Advocacy program at Sarah Lawrence College offers:

  • Convenient, 18-month, low residency format. Take most classes online and attend two week-long intensives at Sarah Lawrence.
  • An opportunity to work with expert faculty in a multi-disciplinary course of study
